One glove for three duties. It is certified at once as a Class I medical device under MDR 2017/745, as Category III PPE under Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and for food contact, so ward, laboratory and catering draw on one stock line instead of three.
An average wall of 0.07 mm across the palm and 0.10 mm at the fingertip keeps fine work possible, against EN 455-2 minima of 6 N force at break and 500 % elongation.
ASTM D6978 covered 28 cytostatic drugs with no breakthrough to 240 minutes for the great majority, carmustine excepted at 23.5 minutes. EN ISO 374 gives Level 6 beyond 480 minutes against sodium hydroxide 40 %, and Level 0 against nitric acid 65 %, where a chemical protection glove is the right choice.
