Biodegradable Nitrile Examination Gloves

The glove to standardise on when accelerator allergy is costing you staff. Type IV contact allergy from disposables is usually caused by the accelerators used to cure the film, and this formulation contains none at all rather than less, so one glove can be standard issue department-wide.

Removing accelerators normally costs strength. Here the film is built back to 0.07 mm across the palm, meeting the same 6 N force at break and 500 % elongation as the standard glove, and ISO 10993-10 passed for both skin irritation and sensitisation.

Biodegradation is measured rather than claimed: 43.0 % in 513 days under ASTM D5511, an anaerobic landfill method and not a composting claim. Palm width holds to ± 3 mm per size against the ± 10 mm the standard allows.
