Eastwest Medico ApS is proud to announce that the company has secured a four-year framework agreement with Region Midtjylland. This agreement involves the supply of sterile surgical gloves from WRP Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd. (WRP) to the region’s hospitals, marking a significant milestone for Eastwest Medico and reinforcing its position as a key supplier in the Danish healthcare market.
The agreement, which takes effect in September, consists of four contracts, with Eastwest Medico winning one and Mölnlycke Health Care ApS, OneMed A/S, and Abena A/S securing the other three. Mölnlycke, OneMed, and Abena are significant players in the industry, and Eastwest Medico is honored to be selected alongside them. The tender results were announced on the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) platform on July 24, 2024.
The framework agreement ensures that hospitals in Region Midtjylland will have access to high-quality surgical gloves from WRP, including products from the Profeel® brand and WRP’s innovative Damp-Hand-Donning (DHD™) technology. This technology allows healthcare personnel to don gloves even with slightly moist hands, enhancing efficiency and comfort in daily operations.
