Sempermed® Syntegra UV
Accelerator-free polyisoprene surgical glove cross-linked by UV light – 100 % protection against latex allergy.
Sempermed® · Official Sempermed® distributor in Denmark
Supplied on tender, framework agreement and humanitarian programme terms. Sample cartons available for evaluation.
The Sempermed® Syntegra UV glove offers ideal comfort and 100 % protection against latex allergy. While latex allergy (type I) is in decline, type IV allergies such as contact dermatitis are increasing.
Cross-linking of the molecules is achieved with UV light in a patented production process and requires no vulcanisation accelerators – significant given that around 80 % of glove-related contact allergies are triggered by vulcanisation accelerators.
The polyisoprene material gives the comfort of a latex glove without the risk of triggering latex allergy: unlike chloroprene rubber, the molecular structure of polyisoprene corresponds 1:1 to that of natural rubber. Wall thickness is reduced to a level where tactile sensitivity is uncompromised.
